Imagine my excitement when I came to learn a few years later exactly whom I had sat next to and conversed with on that memorable flight. Many, if not most, of the readers of this book will probably know me from my affiliation with a set of dual films that are titled The House in Between: Part 1 and Part 2. But, there is so much more to tell about my life. The person that I sat next to on a plane that was bound from Houston to L.A. becomes somewhat of a harbinger’s tale. I’ve been graced by a good fortune that has been so good, in fact, that it has felt like it must have to be a statistical going against the grain. I never could have imagined how many times this good favor would find my shoulder, nor could I have imagined the limitlessness of this favor when considering its extent. If you want to learn more about the popular The House in Between f ilms, then please keep reading the pages that are now in your hands. There are multiple chapters included here that either reference The House in Between, or that speak directly to the films. Of course, you are always invited to share in the journey that an extraordinary house in Florence, Mississippi charted out several years ago for all of us who are interested. But, also know that there is much more to my own personal story than those films. And, if you should choose to tag along and read this entire book, I will also let you in on whom it was that I sat next to while making that memorable flight to Los Angeles. There are also many other stories like this magical airplane flight one that are included in the following chapters. I look forward to sharing the details of that particular flight, but also from the details of an entire life’s jaunt. At the same time, we will also stop and pay homage to that now famous A-frame home in Florence, Mississippi that has become of such an interest to so many who have learned about its fascinating story.
