A Universe from Consciousness: Nothing comes from Nothing

Can a universe come from nothing?

“Consciousness must be there before anything else can be.” (Nisargadatta Maharaj) Doesn’t common sense tell us that this consciousness had to be before a universe could happen? But some think the Universe came from nothing??? Then a series of innumerable accidents. Oh!? From nothing came matter and out of insentient matter came life??? Life without design??? No designer??? There is no proof of God some think but have tremendous blind faith that a universe came from nothing!!! And out of this nothingness came everything, eventually even life!

Can anything happen without consciousness?

Some want to attribute creation to evolution. Believe in evolution or not but Darwin didn’t create life! Nor did he explain the making of a universe. Thanks to Einstein’s formula, we know that the material of the universe is actually energy in temporary forms. Energy is constant in the universe. It cannot be created, only change form. Was this energy guided by an intelligent source, to form the universe and all of us, or is the universe the result of a series of accidents?

Doesn’t common sense tell us that there had to have been an intelligent source guiding and manifesting it all?
