One of the best electronic albums of 2012, John Talabot's seminal Fin, sees a special edition release containing nine remixes and previously-unreleased tracks. One of the most influential genre-crossing albums of the year, here is a deluxe edition of the album, including a bonus disc full of rare and unreleased material. Knowing about the risks of special editions and bonus discs, but still loving the concept of it, Permanent Vacation put a selection of tracks together that let you explore more of Talabot's rich sound cosmos -- such as "I Want Tonite," "Mai Mes," and "Tragedial," which only came out on limited 7"s on Hivern Disc. The previously-unreleased LP version of "Matilda's Dream" and the atmospheric "Zanzibar" also seamlessly join the sound of Fin. As is obligatory for a decent birthday bash, Permanent Vacation also invited some good friends to join on remixes: Bullion, The Pachanga Boys, Bostro Pesopeo, and Kenton Slash Demon all came to celebrate, bringing their own flavor.
