After finishing the manuscript’s first draft, the author, a veteran divorce lawyer and former judge, realized he was positioned to expose the current state of the American family—not his original intent ten years ago of simple story-telling. He has represented husbands and wives in almost every profession and job description, literally: doctors, lawyers and an Indian Chief to celebrities, professional ballplayers, judges, bankers, politicians, and FBI agents to Mafia bosses, madams, the military (private to general), teachers, long-haulers, and clairvoyants, rich and poor, and even divorcing astrophysicists and an unstable nuclear plant manager.
