My boss is ruthless, arrogant, and completely insufferable.

He stepped in to lead Lennox Publishing like it was a burden. He treats everyone like they barely matter. Especially me.

I should hate him.
But I can’t stop thinking about him.

While I’m juggling impossible deadlines by day, trying to save my family’s drowning restaurant by night, he still manages to get under my skin.
The way his eyes linger… the way his voice drops when it’s just us… the way every argument feels dangerously close to something else.

There's a fire waiting to erupt between us, but I can't let that happen.
If I let myself fall for him, everything could burn to the ground.
