Global Peaks: Shared Stories is an exhibition in print imagined, authored, and curated with curiosity, care, and creative freedom. It brings together the world of Voices of the Peaks and the vision of the WildTech Outdoor Adventure Museum, offering a thoughtful and human-centered framework for exploring how people and mountains shape one another.
Part I, Voices of the Peaks, presents an imagined exhibition centered on four mountains: Mount Rainier, the Alps, Mount Kilimanjaro, and Mount Everest. Through themes of challenge, adaptability, resilience, and respect, it reflects on how each peak carries meaning across cultures and generations. Within these themes, sub-themes guide the reader through sacred landscapes, community memory, ecological change, ritual practices, innovation, and endurance. This section holds the heartbeat of the project and invites readers to pause, listen, and consider the ties between landscapes and human experience.
Part II introduces the WildTech Museum, the imagined institution created to support and extend the exhibition. It shares educational ideas, community programs, and participatory approaches that give the project long-term relevance. This section highlights how exhibitions can grow beyond their pages through learning, collaboration, and shared connection.
Created as a self-initiated and unfunded project, this book offers a flexible framework open to adaptation and dialogue.
