The town of Amesworth's Port is cursed. Storms have
plagued the island ever since the notorious Captain Cora
disappeared with a sacred statue, leaving her lover, Talia,
behind.
Talia's student, young Pip Amesworth, is determined to find
out exactly what happened that fateful night- so determined,
in fact, that she winds up accidentally stowing away on
Captain Cora's ship. Despite awkward beginnings, Pip joins
forces with Cora and her crew, and what began as a quest for
answers becomes a quest to repair what's broken and reunite
Cora with Talia.
As the pirates navigate a sea of supernatural threats, tides
and tensions rise back home. The militia braces itself for
battle. Pip's mother, Captain Elodie Amesworth, gathers her
courage to strike out alone and find her daughter. And
Talia, as ever, waits for Cora to come home.
