I Died a Little Writing This: whispers from the quietest part of me
This book is a piece of me never thought I'd share. For most of my life, I've feared being vulnerable-scared that if people saw the real me, the messy me, they'd judge or walk away.
But this collection is me choosing to speak anyway. These pages hold my unfiltered thoughts and deepest wounds-grief, betrayal, heal ing, growth. I write about living with anxiety, depression, and ADHD. I write as a woman of color navigating a country that often doesn't see me. I write about being mixed, about identity, about the way society shapes and scars us.
This isn't just poetry. It's survival. It's truth.
It's me, whispering from the quietest part of who I am.
