My life felt too big for one person to handle. Hollow, vacant. Just like me. An empty shell in a pretty box. Running from one adventure to the next, hiding from the mental torment I lived within during the hours I spent alone in the dark. Ruled by my memories. Held down by fear.

Until Trae Vincent, the persistent drummer from Dirty Admissions forced his way past the impenetrable walls I’d built up around myself. He refused to let me hide from my demons. I ran and he chased me. I fought his affection and he just gave more. He saw me in a way no one else ever even tried, but that didn’t mean he could save me from myself.
