Nova is a fiercely independent mechanic in Tokyo who trusts engines more than people. Her life runs on routine, control, and distance—until Cairo, her cold and infuriating rival on the underground racing circuit, begins to disrupt it.

Cairo is everything Nova avoids: calm, guarded, and impossible to read. Their encounters are charged with tension neither of them understands, pulling Nova closer to a man who seems determined to keep her at arm’s length.
