A collection of illustrations and poems based on the hit tv series Dark Shadows (1966-1971) This book focuses on the characters and events that appeared during the Dark Shadows storyline set in the year 1897.

This book depicts a few key moments and characters from the show and not the entirety of the 1897 storyline, nor every character. Our goal is to keep the fan base engaged and eternally whimsical in a Dark Shadowy kind of way.

This work is in the style of a retro children’s book intended for fans of all ages who adore Dark Shadows 1966-1971 and it is purely for entertainment purposes only.

About the illustrator and poet- George Hernandez is a retired first grade teacher who spent 31 years reading rhyme sing-song picture books to six-year olds three times a day, five days a week, ten months a year…he is also a first generation Dark Shadows fan who ran home after school each day to watch the popular soap opera.

About the editor and assistant illustrator - Samantha Lomuscio is the illustrator of the official Dark Shadows Coloring Book and Dark Shadows Paper Doll book. Samantha saw the potential in George’s work to be a great novelty book for Dark Shadows fans and she took all of George’s hand drawn masterpieces into the age of digital illustration adding ink and shading.
