This is a true story about a North American back-pack adventure. It is based upon the journal that I kept during a 1980 circuitous journey to Canada and back with my buddies involving some bus rides, ferry rides and train rides - but mostly hitch-hiking.
In order to help set the mood for the various experiences we shared, I’ve added frequent references throughout the story to songs played on the radio during that era. The soundtrack playlist can easily be accessed via a provided QR code.
