On their debut ZOHO CD, Brazilian guitarist João Luiz and mandolin player Danilo Brito present nine stunningly virtuosic choros, the instrumental genre from late 1800s Brazil. Covering a century's worth of Brazilian music, the duo sparkles in classic early 20th century choros by Pixinguinha and Jacob do Bandolim and in Brito's own contemporary takes on the genre.
