Spirits Burning is like the Alan Parsons Project in that they are a collective of musicians and singers who come from various bands and backgrounds to share in the experience of being part of something greater than themselves. What is different is the varied type of music they put out, as Spirits' discography shows, and especially their penchant for interstellar music, whereas Parsons' work was mainstream.
