We created Prehistoric ABigC because, as children, we dreamed of a book like this - one that would let both kids and adults imagine the mighty creatures that once roamed where our cities now stand. We were fascinated by the mysteries of the prehistoric world - by the giants of the Ice Age and the strange ancient megafauna that gave rise to modern animals, sometimes completely different from their extinct ancestors.
