Rifleman

Due to its aging sheriff, the town of North Fork, New Mexico, had become a haven for thugs and villians of the Old West. Fortunately for the inocent townsfolk, there was Lucas McCain, a solemn, understanding widower raising his young son on a ranch near the town. The tall, lean, latern-jawed rancher carried a modified rifle that could fire a round in less than half a second. McCain, a ray of virtue and honor in a violent world, strode confidently down the dusty streets of North Fork with his rifle. Created by Western film legend Sam Peckinpah, The Rifleman has been a western favorite for nearly 50 years.
