The main protagonist, Annika, a gifted dancer from Iceland, finds herself ensnared in Weatherby's clutches, burdened by debt and subjected to his abuse. As the plot unfolds, we journey with Annika as she finds and loses love and friendships, pushing her beyond the brink of insanity. Amidst the turmoil, the Norse goddess Hela weaves in and out with mysterious appearances, adding an otherworldly dimension to the narrative.
